hate me? then PISS OFF.

last friday i was sick, and got a 2 day mc, giving me a much needed break and rest from canoeing training. took the time to rest, chill a bit, felt much better by saturday alr. then i saw Beckham's biography in my bookshelf cos my bro bought it and i started reading. it got me thinking a lot about soccer. when you start reading about beckham's childhood, about him and his father doing nothing but play socccer everyday after school into the evenings and sometimes into the night, i can't help but wonder, what if i was born in england instead, where soccer receives so much moresupport from everywhere, be it parents or family or school or friends. how many of us could have madie it big there just playing soccer, even if not in the Premiership. maybe making it big is being over-ambitious, but if you look at beckham's route, it was sucessful all the way to man utd.

either way, as long as anyone was born in england with the same passion for soccer as we have now, (i think of all my dunman mates suddenly), all of us would have had a lot more fun than in Singapore. go soccer trials for noob teams, then advance and advance. damn exicting isnt it, never know when a liverpool scout was watching you or sth. point being we could all just play soccer all day long without a care in the world. as long as we finish our homework first. kinda opens a whole new world for you if you start thinking about it. thats is, IF you were born in england. the world of difference a single word makes.

recently been talking a lot with gary chua, mr playboy. haha about girls he like/dun like/ dun like anymore/ ask for his number(hahahahahahaha) but i shall not divulge anything here lest he whacks me with his volleyball. i strike back with my kayak paddle ah! but mine will break so forget it. but its seriously DAMN funny. OH! you must know about the girl that asked for his number. jhahahahahahaha. i feel damn bad saying it here so i shall wait for him to see this and wait for his tag or sth beofre spilling it all out here. we have nicknamed her tapioca legs. and here is a sneak preview. gary said, i have to hold her books for her. but it sounded like, i have to hold her boobs for her.
